My May assignment entry is thanks to my son who graciously woke me up at 5am one Sunday morning, so I decided to go down to Emsworth beach as the sun was rising.
Emsworth has a great stretch of shingle beach tucked away to the east of the main quay, leading to Nore Barn Woods and then on to Warblington and Langstone. At this time of the morning the beach was wonderfully tranquil, the water unusually still even as the tide was receding. There was still some dramatic skies to be found as the sun arose however.
These were taken with the Fujifilm XC 16-50mm and XF 35mm lenses, the latter producing some amazing pop at wide apertures as golden hour started. All were shot with the Pro-Neg High film simulation with some small tweaking with the Nik Collection.
